The room was clean, I had the pleasure dealing with miss Lori. She was very nice and took great care of me. There is a bar, restaurant, and convenience store all within walking distance. On the weekends there is a band playing. I slept great it was very quiet at night. As a single woman staying there for work I felt very safe and it was also affordable. I would definitely stay here again. Beautiful sunsets too!
I’ve been coming here for years and not once have I had a bad experience. The owner is great, very personable and caring. I’ll be coming back here every time I’m in Grand Isle. Highly Recommended.
I really enjoyed my stay here-the room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing trip, and the accessible layout made moving around incredibly easy. The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, especially Lori, who made check-in smooth and answered every question with patience and a smile. I loved being able to walk to nearby food, drinks, and fishing spots, and the whole area had a laid-back, friendly atmosphere that made the trip feel effortless. It's the kind of place where people clearly care about their guests, and that positive energy shows in the way everything is kept clean, convenient, and enjoyable.
We stayed here for the Swollfest Fishing Rodeo, in a handicapped accessible room. The room was very clean; the shower is walk-in with a small lip to roll wheelchair across. There is an exterior cable elevator for access to the 2nd and 3 rd floors (there is no 1st floor as the hotel is built on poles). The lift can be a little quirky, meaning you may have to push the button and hold several times once in awhile. The safety gates on the lift have to be shut on all levels for it to operate so you may need a person to check those if the lift won't operate). All in all, a great place to stay with great service when we needed any.
Grand Isle is our state resort, the town has overcome the most challenging issues. My hats off to any and all business, we will be back.
Perfect! My husband and I came for a small getaway. We fished and had great food while in Grand Isle. I work as a General Manager at a branded hotel and hands down would pick this over any other hotel if your in the area and just need a nice clean room to shower and sleep! The room was super easy to book, clean, and nice cold AC!
The new owners are absolutely wonderful. They are friendly and the atmosphere at the marina is the best on the island if you're looking for a place to have a good time during your stay at the island. There is always something going on on the weekends at the marina weather its a band or DJ, even a fireworks extravaganza for 4th of July. The grill at the marina has great food at a very reasonable price. If you're on the island and looking for a good time, check out grand isle marina. You won't be disappointed!
Spent a week here with the family was amazing staff was extremely helpful taught us all a lot about salt water fishing cast nets I highly recommend staying here!! We will be going back next summer
